ABOUT
ME...
Who am I?
Hi, my name is Leah and I am a person-centred counsellor based on the Wirral, Merseyside, offering counselling for adults aged 18 and over.
I aim to provide a warm, confidential and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly about what you are experiencing. My approach focuses on supporting you with empathy and understanding, allowing you to explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace.
What can I support you with?
People come to counselling for many different reasons. I can offer support with experiences such as anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, emotional dysregulation, grief and loss, relationship difficulties, life transitions, and challenges related to neurodiversity such as ADHD or CPTSD.
How can counselling help you?
Counselling can help you better understand your thoughts, feelings and experiences. It can support you in developing greater self-awareness, building self-esteem, strengthening emotional resilience and creating positive changes in your life.
How do my sessions work?
I offer a free 30 minute initial consultation where we can talk about what has brought you to counselling.
Sessions are 60 minutes long and are available face-to-face, online or by telephone. Face-to-face sessions take place at the Laird Street Health & Business Centre in Birkenhead, Wirral.
What are my qualifications?
Diploma of Higher Education (DipHE) in Counselling
Registered Member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS)
